What is a clinical trial?

A clinical trial is a carefully designed medical research study involving volunteers to find better ways to treat, prevent, or diagnose diseases. Clinical trials evaluate whether new medications, vaccines, or medical devices are safe and effective before they can be prescribed by general physicians.

Is it safe to join a study?

Participant safety is our highest priority. All studies are reviewed by an independent Institutional Review Board (IRB), conducted by board-certified physicians, and adhere to strict federal and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) safety protocols. You undergo thorough medical monitoring before and throughout the trial.

Do I need insurance to participate?

No. Health insurance is never required. All study-related visits, laboratory evaluations, exams, specialized diagnostics, and investigational medications are covered entirely by the study sponsor at zero cost to you or your family.

Will I be compensated?

Yes, on most studies participants receive compensation for their time and travel expenses. Specific stipends and schedules are clearly outlined during the informed consent process before you join, and compensation is disbursed promptly after each completed visit.

What happens if I change my mind?

Participation is 100% voluntary. You have the full ethical and legal right to leave a study at any time, for any reason, with no penalty and no impact on your regular medical care or relationship with your doctor.

How long do studies last?

Study duration varies widely depending on the protocol—ranging from a few weeks to several months or longer. Your research team will explain the exact schedule, visit intervals, and time commitments up front before you sign consent.

How do I find out if I qualify?

You can speak directly with our clinical coordinators or submit a confidential interest form. We will ask a few straightforward health questions, confirm key medical criteria, and review your history to determine potential fit for upcoming studies.
